Baikal 2016, Russian Championship, Day 7
There is no racing in the morning and the next skippers’ meeting is put off until 1 p.m. A strong wind was blowing all night and also during the morning. The referee measured 35 knots and shifts of up to 90 degrees. The Sarma is blowing, a north wind from the mountains – cold, strong and turbulent.
Nothing is decided at one and we wait on. We get together again at 3 p.m. when racing is closed for the day. Tomorrow’s forecast is better, for a 5 m/s wind and hard ice.
We will see what tomorrow brings …
